IWB ginagamit na sa CTES

Makapagtuturo pa kaya ang mga guro kung wala ng chalk at pisara?

Posible! At ito ay dahil sa Interactive Whiteboard o IWB na kasama sa e-classroom package ng Computerization Project ng Department of Education (DepEd) na ginagamit na ngayon ng mga guro sa Camp Tinio Elementary School.

Unang naranasan ng mga mag-aaral ng Grade VI SPED ang paggamit ng Interactive Whiteboard na sinasabing kapalit ng pisara sa mga silid-aralan sa kanilang computer class at ayon sa kanila maganda at nakawiwili ang pag-aaral gamit ito.

Nagbibigay ng “touch control” ang Interactive Whiteboard sa mga computer applications. Sa pamamagitan ng projector, makikita sa whiteboard ang screen ng computer at maaari ng manipulahin ito sa pamamagitan ng direktang pagpindot o paghawak sa board.

Dahil sa mga computer applications na nasa computer package, mas nagiging dinamiko, interaktibo, at nakakaaliw ang pagtuturo ng mga guro at pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral.

SApagkat nag-iisa lamang ang Interactive Whiteboard, itinakda ang schedule ng paggamit ng bawat klase.

Aminado naman ang ICT coordinator ng Camp Tinio Elementary School na hindi pa gaanong handa ang mga guro sa paggamit ng Interactive Whiteboard.

Sinanay ang labingwalong guro ng Camp Tinio Elementary School ng Columbia Technologies, Inc. sa paggamit ng Interactive Whiteboard kamakailan sa pangunguna ni Engr. Lyster Fama.
