Bilang tugon sa seryosong hangarin ng Camp Tinio Elementary School na mapataas ang performance nito sa National Achievement Test (NAT), tinagubilinan ni Gng. Marcelina Arenas, punungguro ng nasabing paaralan, and mga guro ng Grade III at VI na magsagawa simula Nobyembre ng maagang pagbabalik-aral sa mga araling sakop ng NAT.
Nakasaad sa direktiba ni Gng. Arenas ang paggamit ng oras na nakalaan sa remedial teaching gayundin ang dalawampung minuto bago ang unang klase sa hapon na siyang magsisilbing oras para sa NAT review.
Mahigpit ding tinagubilinan ang mga guro na bigyang pansin ang mga least-learned skills na lumabas sa nakaraang NAT at Spot Test. Aniya, ibayong pagtutok sa mga ito ang kailangan.
Sa pagsasagawa ng review, ang mga mag-aaral ay sasagot sa maikling pre-test na tumatalakay sa isa o higit pang skills. Matapos ang talakayan sa mga naging sagot sa pre-test ay susubukin ang mga bata sa isa namang post-test na may ibang test questions ngunit may parehas na skills tulad ng sa pre-test.
Matatandaang nagsagawa rin ang paaralan ng NAT review noong nakaraang taon subalit hindi ito naging sapat upang umangat ang performance ng paaralan sa NAT kaya’t mas pinaaga at mas pinaigting ang NAT review ngayong taon.
